Laboratory personnel are routinely exposed to disinfectants, gloves, detergents, and chemical agents that may contribute to occupational skin disorders. This cross-sectional assessment evaluated the prevalence and characteristics of occupational skin disorders among laboratory technicians. Participants completed questionnaires regarding workplace exposure, glove use, hand hygiene practices, and dermatological symptoms. Hand dermatitis, skin dryness, and irritant contact dermatitis were the most commonly reported conditions. Frequent hand washing and prolonged glove use were associated with increased symptom occurrence. Preventive workplace measures, including appropriate skin care education and protective equipment, may reduce occupational dermatological disease.
