Publication, Archiving & Preservation Policy

The International Journal Studies of Advance Medical Science (IJSAMS) is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, preservation, and integrity of all published scholarly content. The journal follows internationally recognized publishing standards to guarantee permanent availability and reliable citation of published articles.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes articles according to its announced publication schedule. Articles are published only after successful completion of the editorial process, peer review, copyediting, proofreading, and final approval by the Editor-in-Chief.

Any changes to the publication schedule will be announced on the journal's website.

Digital Object Identifier (DOI)

Each published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref. The DOI provides a permanent and persistent link to the published article, ensuring reliable citation, indexing, and long-term accessibility.

CrossMark

The journal supports CrossMark (where implemented) to inform readers about the current status of published articles and to provide updates regarding corrections, retractions, or other changes to the scholarly record.

Digital Archiving and Preservation

To ensure long-term preservation of published content, the journal utilizes recognized digital preservation services and repositories whenever available, including:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
  • Institutional Repositories
  • National and International Digital Archives

These preservation systems ensure that published content remains permanently accessible, even in the event of technical failures or website interruptions.

Repository Deposit

Authors are encouraged to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, funding agency repositories, and personal or institutional websites, provided that proper citation to the original published article is included.

Permanent Availability

All published articles remain permanently available through the journal's website. The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity and accessibility of the scholarly record and does not remove published articles except in exceptional circumstances involving serious legal or ethical issues.

Article Corrections

If errors are identified after publication, the journal may publish corrections, errata, corrigenda, expressions of concern, or retractions in accordance with its editorial policies to preserve the accuracy of the scientific record.

Metadata and Indexing

The journal maintains accurate article metadata, including titles, authors, affiliations, abstracts, keywords, references, and DOI information, to facilitate indexing, discoverability, and citation across national and international databases.

Policy Updates

The journal reserves the right to update this policy as publishing standards and digital preservation practices evolve. Any revisions will be published on the journal's website and will apply to future publications.
