Article Processing Charges
The International Journal Studies of Advance Medical Science (IJSAMS) is committed to maintaining transparency regarding publication charges. The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 500 for each accepted manuscript.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication. No payment is required at the time of manuscript submission or during peer review.
The APC covers:
- Editorial management
- Double-blind peer review
- Copyediting and proofreading
- Typesetting and layout formatting
- DOI registration
- Online publication
- Website hosting and maintenance
- Long-term digital archiving and preservation
There are no submission fees, review fees, processing fees, or any hidden charges. The APC of USD 500 is the only publication fee charged by the journal.
Payment of the APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific quality, originality, ethical standards, and the recommendations of peer reviewers.
Waiver Policy
The journal is committed to supporting researchers who may face financial constraints. Full or partial APC waivers may be granted at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
Waiver requests may be considered for:
- Authors from low-income countries.
- Authors with demonstrated financial hardship.
- Invited articles or special contributions.
- Other exceptional cases approved by the Editorial Office.
Authors requesting a waiver should submit their request during manuscript submission or before manuscript acceptance. Waiver decisions are made independently and do not influence the editorial or peer review process.
Refund Policy
The APC becomes payable only after acceptance of the manuscript.
Once the APC has been paid and the publication process has commenced, the fee is generally non-refundable.
Refunds may be granted only under exceptional circumstances, including:
- Duplicate or accidental payments.
- Technical errors during payment processing.
- Cancellation of publication by the journal before the article is published.
No refunds will be issued if:
- The author withdraws the manuscript after acceptance.
- The manuscript is withdrawn during production at the author's request.
- The article has already been published.
Any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
